A Delightful Night In FLORAL DELIGHT

As you all know floral prints are a huge trend this year, so I decided to wear one of the new arrivals from my boutique The hubby and I was invited by our good friends to one of Memphis's upscale restaurant's to celebrate our union, I was super excited!!! We had an amazing time with our friends!

I think this picture is funny, I was trying to do my cute girl pose, and my purse was turned the wrong way!!! It's really cute with  fur trim on the front...oh well, LOL!!

Date Night: Mother's Day Edition

It's mother's day weekend and my hubby took me to dinner on Saturday night. I knew exactly what I wanted to wear. I loved this Jessica Simpson blazer when I first laid eyes on it!! I have had it for about a month waiting to find the perfect bottom for it, but I just could not find one, so I decided to make my own skirt!!! (Thanks Kimmie Dee for pushing me to do so!!) Floral prints are a huge spring trend this year, and I love the colors in the blazer.

Just not HOT enough......

First let me apologize for not posting in FOREVER. I got married!!! And the planning process and honeymooning can be very time consuming. Yesterday evening after preparing Sunday dinner for my family :-) I went to a sip and shop. I had plans to go and had my attire ready in my mind, but I had a wardrobe malfunction! The event was over at 8pm, it was already 6pm and I was standing in the closet looking clueless!!! My eyes gravitated to my recently purchases lace eye lit shorts from Macy's  and I quickly envisioned this southern bell/ country girl look.

 

It was a perfect day for me to wear this look. It was not really hot or cold outside. It was just right!

If serial mom was around I would be in trouble! Yep, that's right...I wore white after Labor Day!!

 

This entire look was thrifted, except for the shoes (Rachel Roy).

 

Whenever I wear white, leggings, or any fitted pants I slip on my trusty footless Spanx! They work miracles!!!

 & most of all no panty-lines!!!

 

I just want to let you all know that it took all of me to post a picture of my back-side! LOL!!But I had to show you all the miracle a spanx will perform!!

Pageant Mom Dress Code

Yesterday my daughter was in a Kwanzaa pageant and we had a lot of backstage changing to do. I wanted to be comfy and chic all at the same time!

Mallory won the Ujima Award which means collective work and responsibility! We had a great time and it was a great learning experience for both of us!

Two of a kind in the Winter Time
